Reinventing the Traditional Classroom — Hear from Fellow Educators
Schools, colleges, and universities across the U.S. are reinventing the “traditional” classroom and campus, using innovative technologies to transform teaching and learning with vital new connections—among educators, students, administrators, parents, and experts across the globe.
In this one-hour webcast, Dr. Lance Ford, a Cisco educational technology advocate and educator, will discuss the ways collaboration technologies are helping schools, colleges, and universities—regardless of their size—empower more agile teaching and learning, extend access, and improve student outcomes.
You’ll hear from leaders at two schools who have put their visions for a more personalized learning environment into practice: Shawnee Mission School District, which serves more than 28,000 K-12 students in Kansas, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, which serves more than 12,000 students in southeastern Wisconsin. While two very different education environments, both Shawnee Mission and UW-Whitewater have changed the way educators teach and students learn using innovative collaboration technologies.
See how your colleagues:
- Accelerate learning by sharing knowledge quickly and securely.
- Optimize engagement to improve the student experience.
- Extend access beyond the traditional classroom and campus.
- Connect students, educators, and researchers around the globe.
- Increase administration and management efficiency.
At the end of the webcast, you’ll have an opportunity to engage in a question and answer session with panelists.
