Saxon Math Adds Assessment Generator

3/26/2007—Saxon Publishers, a division of Harcourt Education, has introduced a new version of its Saxon Math program for elementary students. The latest release adds assessment tools and is expected to be available for fall 2007.

Saxon Math is a core math program that includes hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks for all elementary grade levels. The latest version adds in additional support for ELL students, professional development tools, and new question types. It also adds a new feature called Benchmark Assessment Generator designed to " help educators set benchmarks and track standards."

The new version of Saxon Math will be available for fall 2007, including California and Texas editions.
