ProProfs Site Offers SAT Assistance

ProProfs, a provider of Internet learning resources for K-12, has rolled out a new, free service at ProProfs.com designed to help prepare students for SATs and eliminate the need for pre-SAT courses and printed books.

The free resource provides a variety of study aids, including quizzes, flashcards, study guides, tips, and links to related articles. Beyond these, it also offers discussion, online file exchange, wikis, blogs, tagging, and tools for creating custom quizzes and flashcards.

"The SAT is taken by more than two million students each year. With the launch of SAT Test School, ProProfs aims at providing students and educators the resources they need, free of charge, and in a convenient format," said, Sameer Bhatia, founder and president of ProProfs. "With the SAT Test School, teachers will no longer have to depend on reproducing worksheets or creating their own websites and students will not need to hunt around for a particular study guide or cram sheet."

In addition to general SAT preparation, it gives students guidance in each of the three SAT categories: reading, writing, and mathematics, with study guides and overviews, as well as complete practice tests.
