ClassLink Releases Free ClassSync

K-12 software developer ClassLink has released a free version of ClassSync, the company's Active Directory synchronization tool.

ClassSync is designed to synchronize active user lists with existing student information systems by comparing and matching data in separate lists and updating automatically using customizable rules-based logic. According to ClassLink, it can also "identify bad log-in accounts, correct missing information in Active Directory, and fix the Organization Unit (OU) paths."

ClassSync supports Windows 2000 Active Directory (and higher) and provides unlimited-use rights throughout the school year for continuous updating.
