Hitachi Launches Summer School Content Contest
##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->
Hitachi has kicked off a new contest--the StarBoard Summer School Contest--designed to get educators sharing their interactive content and lesson plans. The company will offer 10 prizes to educators ranging from HDTVs to wireless tablets.
As part of the contest, educators share their lesson plans and activities on Hitachi's online Educators Resource Center. Lesson plans should focus on optimizing "the use of an interactive whiteboard and/or LCD projector." Plans will be judged based on interactivity, educational quality, presentation, creativity, and number of plans submitted, with various weights applied to each of these criteria.
Specific prizes offered in the contest include:
- One 50" Hitachi Flat Panel Plasma HDTV
- One 42" Hitachi Flat Panel Plasma HDTV
- Three 8 GB Hitachi Hybrid DVD/HDD Camcorder
- Five StarBoard BT-2G Wireless Tablets
The contest runs through Sept. 30 and is open to all K-12 educators 21 years or older. More information can be found at the links below.
