Curriculum Advantage Rolls Out Professional Development for Instructional Technology

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Curriculum Advantage has expanded and revamped its professional development programs following a year of review of effective implementations, according to the company. Included in the expansion are new methods for implementation planning and 25 new or retooled training courses designed to help improve the results schools see from their technology implementations.

The changes to the company's professional development tools are the result of culling best practices from "effectiveness studies" Curriculum Advantage conducts with 15 to 20 schools annually. The company said that based on the results, it has released 18 completely new training courses focused around the company's Classworks, a suite of K-12 reading and mathematics curricula and learning tools.

Some of the new courses include:

  • Reviewing the Reports, Analyzing the Data;
  • Classworks for Credit Recovery; and
  • Standards-based Instruction for All Students.
