LanSchool Adds Print Limiting

LanSchool Technologies, a developer of classroom management systems, has added print limiting to its LanSchool 7, a feature that allows teachers to limit printing in their classes from Windows-based systems. It's available free as an upgrade to existing users.

LanSchool is a tool for Windows-based systems that provides various classroom computer control capabilities, such as screen monitoring, site blocking, application limiting, and screen blanking, as well as classroom interaction features, such as voting and chat. The new print limiting feature lets teachers block individual students or entire classrooms from printing from their computers.

Pricing for LanSchool starts at $299 for classrooms with fewer than 10 computers. Licenses for classrooms with 10 or more computers run $599. The upgrade is free for current users. The software works only on Windows.
