The Council for Educational Change (CEC) in Florida has announced a partnership with Canadian online educational service provider Etraffic Press. The partnership will support Etraffic's online video sharing and homework help services designed for K-12 students, SchoolWAX and SchoolWAXTV.
SchoolWAX is a general online help tool for working with homework. It includes resources for language arts, math, science, social studies, and world languages, broken down by grade level (elementary, middle school, and high school). SchoolWAXTV is a new service that launched just last month. It's a video sharing site designed specifically for K-12 students and educators.
"The CEC is proud to partner with SchoolWAX and SchoolWAX TV and offer these free resources to students throughout Florida," said Elaine Liftin, CEC president and executive director, according to a release issued by Etraffic Press last week. "The content is academically enriching and offers tremendous opportunities for students to expand their knowledge, working on their own or with their teachers and parents. Another plus-the learning is showcased and delivered through cutting-edge technology that students relate to and use, with their parents and teachers."
"With the support of partners like the CEC, SchoolWAX is expanding its reach and aiding students across the nation with reaching their learning objectives," says John Juricic, partner at Etraffic Press, also in a prepared statement. "The students of Florida will benefit greatly from these online classroom and homework resources."
Both SchoolWAX and SchoolWAXTV are free services. In addition to providing these online resources, Etraffic Press publishes textbooks and online content for K-12 schools.
