Knowledge Delivery Systems this week launched two new online teacher professional development courses focused on English language learners and differentiated instruction.

KDS provides professional development courses for K-12 educators in a variety of subject areas, ranging from coaching and discipline techniques to improving literacy and working with students with disabilities.

The new courses introduced by KDS this week include one focusing on assessments and differentiated instruction and one on working with English language learners. "Differentiation and Assessment for Middle School" is designed to show educators how they can prepare students for testing while also teaching them through instruction geared toward their individual learning styles. The new ELL course was developed by ELL textbook author Elizabeth Jiménez and is designed to offer strategies for presenting academic content to ELL students to help them meet proficiency and grade level standards.

Both courses are now available. Further information about the new courses can be found here.
