Zula and IBM have collaborated to launch ZulaWorld, a science-focused, online educational gaming site with social interaction features.

In ZulaWorld, users create avatars that they use to explore the universe through games and activities and collaborate and communicate with other players. Game play includes individual and team play designed to promote critical thinking skills.

Some games include "Find the Pair," "Find the Difference," and "Gorga Dive," in which players solve word puzzles. There are various regions in the world, where a number of activities and attractions can be encountered, such as Zula Academy, a pet store, a theater, singalongs, a clothing store, a music store, and other features.

ZulaWorld is free for users who want basic access, including limited levels of game play. Enhanced features are available through subscriptions, which run $5.99 per onth, $29.99 for six months, and $49.99 for a year. Further information can be found here.
