Adaptive Curriculum Comes to High School Math, Science
Sebit has launched two new additions to its Adaptive Curriculum series: Adaptive Curriculum High School Math and Adaptive Curriculum High School Science. The announcement was made at the 2009 National Educational Computer Conference (NECC) in Washington, DC this week.
The two new high school Adaptive Curriculum titles join two previously released science and math titles targeted toward middle schoolers.
Sebit's Adaptive Curriculum (developed in partnership with Arizona State University) is a Web-based learning environment centered around online, interactive lessons called Activity Objects. These Objects, designed to supplement math and science curricula, combine a variety of interactive content organized into single topics, which can be used in various learning environments, including the use of a whiteboard in teacher-led classrooms or as individual assignments to students working on individual computers.
It's also designed to support differentiated instruction, including both remedial and advanced instruction.
