Lenovo Opens $25,000 Classroom Makeover Contest

At the FETC 2014 conference taking place this week in Orlando, FL, Lenovo opened a new classroom makeover contest that will award $25,000 in laptops, software and support for one school. The contest is open to FETC attendees.

For the contest, Lenovo will award 30 Lenovo x131e notebooks running on Windows 8 and powered by an Intel Core i3 processor; Intel Education Software; five hours "of personalized, virtual professional and technology coaching with an Intel Education expert"; and licenses for both Absolute Software's Absolute Computrace and Stoneware software.

Lenovo is also holding several smaller giveaways in its booth, including individual ThinkPad Yoga and ThinkPad Tablet 2 devices.

The classroom makeover contest is open to those who visit the FETC exhibit hall this week and scan their badges in booths 164, 1564 or 621. The award will be announced Friday at 2:50 p.m. in Lenovo's booth, 621. Further details can be found on the contest portal at FETC.org.
