Trunity Knowledge Exchange Adds Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Content

Trunity Holdings has partnered with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to bring HMH content to the Trunity Knowledge Exchange platform.

Trunity Knowledge Exchange is a cloud-based e-learning platform that provides multimedia capabilities, content management functionality, collaborative tools and support for mobile devices. Through the partnership, Trunity will deliver HMH content to education systems around the world.

"Because we share HMH's commitment to providing learning solutions that represent the best our industry can offer, we are looking forward to working closely with them to combine and optimize our respective strengths and resources to make learning more dynamic, engaging and effective," said Arol Buntzman, Trunity chairman and CEO, in a prepared statement. "To that end, we are particularly excited about ongoing opportunities to distribute HMH's 'Trunitized' educational content through our platform to educational systems internationally, where we have successfully established or are working to establish partnerships with national governmental leaders and education ministries."

"Education has a powerful role to play in overcoming the barriers facing many developing nations," said Tim Cannon, HMH executive vice president, alliances and services, also in a prepared statement. "Given the robust and scalable architecture of the Trunity eLearning Platform, coupled with its innovative sharing and content management capabilities, our new strategic alliance with Trunity will greatly complement our digital growth in key international markets while enhancing our abilities to reach and empower lifelong learners around the world with our proven education content."
