Discovery Ed Launches Free Digital Resources for Summer

Discovery Education has rolled out a collection of digital resources for summer learning. The resources are being offered free of charge to parents and guardians. Resources cover STEM, SEL, financial literacy and health.

According to Discovery: “This selection of content, created in partnership with leading corporate and community partners, inspires families to learn together by exploring the world around them during the summer break. Discovery Education is the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources, engaging content, and professional learning for K-12 classrooms.”

Among the resources are:

• STEM and sustainability K-12 activities from the STEM Careers Coalition;

• Middle school STEM activities from Ignite My Future in School;

• SEL activities from Teaching with Testimony and The Willesden Project created in partnership with USC Shoah Foundation;

• SEL resources from Amazing Me, an initiative of the Dove Self-Esteem Project and Discovery Education;

• Financial literacy resources from Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids, designed in conjunction with the Jackson Charitable Foundation.
