  • Updated: Free Resources for Schools During COVID-19 Outbreak

    In response to the number of states, districts and schools that are shuttering schools to students over the next several weeks in response to fears about the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), education technology companies have stepped forward to help educators reach students in virtual ways. (Updated March 26)

  • Updated List of Statewide School Closures with Closure Dates

    A total of 46 states now have ordered all of their schools closed as the COVID-19 panic continues to spread. All schools in three other states have shut down on their own. One state's status is unclear. A massive 21 states that had already ordered closures have extended those closure dates. Here is a complete list, with closure dates and closure extensions known at this point. (Updated March 26.)
