A new addition to the CyberLearning Collection,

Computer Music: An Interactive Documentary offers an upbeat and engaging portrait of how computers are used to create, edit and perform music.

Tailored primarily for introductory level college music and technology education courses, the program has been well received in middle through secondary schools, says the publisher. It includes over two hours of animation and video featuring performers, researchers, sound designers and engineers.

Among the to¼cs covered are MIDI, synthesis, sequencing, composition, digital audio recording and editing. Students may also experiment with sound waves and digital sound processing in the CD's Sound Lab.
