Proview Technology's DX-797 is a 17" cathode ray tube (CRT) perfect square, flat-face color monitor with an estimated street price of under $300. It features a pure flat, distortion-free screen to display high-resolution characters and graphics, and offers a .25 mm dot pitch and a maximum viewing resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The plug-and-play monitor is further supported by a 30-98 KHz horizontal frequency, 60-160 Hz vertical frequency and 185 MHz bandwidth.
