Events: How To Choose and Fund a Wireless Network

THE Journal will host a free Webinar covering wireless networking in K-12 schools this week. The event, called "How To Choose and Fund a Wireless Network," will be held Thursday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. PST.

At the Webinar, representatives from Olathe District Schools in Kansas and Government Capital Consulting will discuss strategies for choosing and funding a wireless network, including:

  • Finding the right equipment;
  • Avoiding pitfalls in the planning and implementation of a wireless network;
  • Security and management; and
  • Funding options outside of e-Rate.

The Webinar will be held live for one hour, during which time there will be a short Q&A session. The event will be available in archive form following the live presentation.
