Turning Tech Launches Poll Data Manager

Student response system maker Turning Technologies has released ResultsManager, a downloadable add-on application bringing new polling data management functionality to the company's existing software.

A Turning audience response system combines handheld participant response clickers and portable USB receiver with computer software for collecting and managing resulting data. In addition to these elements, Turning offers an array of clickers designed for classroom use, plus the option for Internet polling via mobile device such as PDA or iPod touch.

The new ResultsManager application works through the company's TurningPoint software, taking response data from Microsoft PowerPoint--and now other outside applications with TurningPoint Anywhere--and also integrates with LMS systems Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, and WebCT. Additional features include session-specific data display and editing with the program's drag-and-drop matrix layout interface, participation points tracking, HTML report generation, and ResponseCard device management.

ResultsManager is available via download for installation on systems running Mac OS X 10.4 or later or Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, as well as a "non-installed" version for use with Windows 7. More information can be found here.
