Partnership Aims at Enhancing Global Collaboration Opportunities

McGraw-Hill Education and ePals Corporation have partnered to combine the McGraw-Hill Networks digital social studies learning program for grades 6-12 with ePals global community and social learning platform.

The partnership is intended to enhance the ePals community of more than 1 million classrooms with McGraw-Hill Networks' print and digital resources for social studies instruction in more than 60 languages, in turn providing students using those instructional resources the ability to connect and collaborate with their peers from more than 200 countries worldwide via the ePals community.

"By bringing together McGraw-Hill Networks' strong educational content and ePals' global community of classrooms, we're expanding students' worlds while providing them the means to master Common Core standards through top-quality project-based learning experiences," said Stephen Waldron, vice president of humanities and academic design at McGraw-Hill School Education. "We are delighted to partner with ePals to enhance learning outcomes for students by creating collaborative experiences that are truly authentic and engaging."

Under the agreement, initial McGraw-Hill Education resources available on ePals will focus on middle and high school-level social studies topics. Additional core curriculum content from McGraw-Hill Education on ePals is planned for the future, according to a company release.
