LearnLaunch Opens Third Round of Funding for Ed Tech Startups

LearnLaunch Accelerator, a Boston-based ed tech startup program, has opened for applications for the 2015 cohort. As many as eight startups will be selected to receive $18,000 and other benefits, including mentoring, discounted services, networking opportunities and a three month residential program at the organization's ed tech startup co-working space, LearnLaunch Campus.

"To date, LearnLaunch Accelerator has invested in 13 companies and recently graduated its second class from its winter 2014 program," according to a news release. "Over 60 mentors have participated, and the program has attracted influencers and thought leaders from business, government and the education sector." "We help promising edtech startups from around the world that are creating new innovations for education and learning tap into the brightest minds in the business to help strengthen and position their companies and products for a successful launch, accelerate their sales and prepare themselves for funding," said Jean Hammond, partner at LearnLaunch, in a prepared statement.

Applications, available at the LearnLaunch site, will be accepted through October 31. The 2015 cohort will launch in February. Additional information is available at learnlaunch.com.
