Time to Know Adds OS X Compatibility

Time to Know has released a new version of their digital teaching platform with Mac OS X compatibility.

Time to Know is a cloud-based platform for teaching and learning. It includes math and language arts curricula aligned with Common Core State Standards and is designed to help teachers manage classroom activities and "deliver a personalized curriculum to every student," according to information released by the company.

In addition to OS X compatibility, features new to version 6.1 include:

  • New co-teaching tools;
  • A new lesson-planning interface;
  • More benchmark reports; and
  • Improved report navigation.

"About a third of our students using the Time To Know program use their own computers through our BYOD [bring your own device] initiative," said Barbara Rudolph, principal of Davis Intermediate School in Wylie, TX. "Availability of the Mac version will help us to achieve our goal of expanding use of Time To Know in our school."

The newest version is currently available to all schools in the United States and "the next platform update will be released mid-2012 in time for the 2012-2013 school year," according to information released by Time to Know.
