WebAssign Adds Canvas, Brightspace Integrations

WebAssign has teamed with Instructure and Desire2Learn in an effort to make it easier for students to access WebAssign course content through the companies' respective learning management systems, Canvas and Brightspace.

WebAssign is an online instructional system designed to allow instructors "to create and deploy assignments, instantly assess individual student and whole class performance and realize…teaching goals," according to information released by the company. WebAssign includes tools for course creation, grading and analysis, secure testing, assignment and question creation, faculty collaboration and more.

The new integrations, which join existing partnerships with Blackboard, Shibboleth and Moodle, are designed to reduce time spent on administrative tasks.

"The new integrations will offer faculty and students a more seamless experience between the online learning systems, letting them focus on what is important, teaching and learning," said John Lepanto, WebAssign product manager, in a news release.

More information about WebAssign LMS integrations is available at webassign.com.
