LogTera Launches Mobile App for Personalized Learning

LogTera has launched a new personalized learning app designed to boost teacher productivity and student performance.

Available as a Web app and for Android devices, "ClassK12 provides a fun, interactive, gamified and engaging "Practice and Assignment" solution for classroom and home learners," according to a news release. "The program is designed for use by learners who wish to improve their skills and to improve their performance in standardized tests like the Common Core State Standards tests by PARCC and Smarter Balanced."

The app aims to minimize teacher effort and time associated with the creation, management, grading and performance tracking of assignments and practice through a streamlined interface and reduced paperwork, allowing teachers to spend more time focused on individual student needs.

"Our mission is to bring the leading edge mobile technologies to K-12 education to provide the most fun, interactive and engaging education to the learners," said Rahul Jauhari, cofounder of LogTera, in a prepared statement. "We are working with schools and content publishers to expand our offerings, and we want the learners to have the best platform to prepare for the new computer-based testing environment."

The Android app is available in the Google Play store and the Web app is available at classk12.com.
