Pearson Extends Partnership With Knowledge Factor

Knowledge Factor has extended its partnership with Pearson to provide the software underlying the Dynamic Study Modules for the MyLab & Mastering tools.

Since 2012, Knowledge Factor has provided its amplifire software that allows educators to continuously assess individual students' performance and activities with MyLab & Mastering's collection of 350 online homework, tutorial and assessment technologies. With the new agreement, it will continue to provide the software that drives the Dynamic Study Modules for higher education institutions.

"We know that the future of learning is in digital content, and are excited to continue our collaboration with Pearson to further improve student achievement," said Knowledge Factor CEO Bob Burgin.

MyLab & Mastering — available via Web, tablet or mobile device — offers data-driven guidance in real time that helps students absorb course material and understand difficult concepts. Knowledge Factor's Dynamic Study Modules provide the real-time analytics to educators so that they have the information they need to personalize content that targets a student's strengths and weaknesses.

The Dynamic Study Modules are based on scientific findings in neurobiology and cognitive psychology, incorporating techniques intended to speed learning and retention.
