Survey: Most Middle- and High-Schoolers Say They Haven't Used AI Tools Yet

A May 2023 survey of Gen Z students conducted by Touchstone Research shows how students perceive generative artificial intelligence, how they use it, and what they’re using the tools for — and while only 18% of respondents said they'd ever used generative AI, of those, over a third were middle- and high-schoolers reporting they've used the tools to help with their schoolwork.
