Students Apply to Colleges on Web

CollegeNET, a Web site, provides a vast database of colleges, universities and trade schools to prospective students. Users pull up customized school lists based on user-defined criteria such as tuition, enrollment, geographic location and school type. Then, with one click, they jump to a profile of the university or college they choose.

Students can apply to multiple schools under CollegeNET without retyping common information; participating schools automatically receive completed applications without having to interpret handwriting or rekey application data.

Specialized At-A-Glance and Snap-On pages are also offered for institutions wanting to maximize their global web presence. Universal Algorithms, Portland, OR, (503) 973-5200, www.collegenet.com.
