Keystone Offers PD, Workforce Training

The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education has established the first courses for its online university, Keystone University Network (www.keystoneu.net). More than 1,900 workforce training and professional development courses, as well as specialized training areas for healthcare, maintenance technology and government employees are among the initial course offerings. Keystone will draw upon the tradition and educational excellence of the 14 public universities of the State System of Higher Education to ensure quality development and delivery of the educational programming available through the online university.

In addition, Keystone has launched online adult basic education programming with curriculum developed by PLATO Learning. It covers early childhood to postsecondary course levels and helps prepare students for GED testing.
