San Antonio District To Implement $4.9 Million ERP Solution

Northside Independent School District in Texas has signed a deal with Tyler Technologies worth roughly $4.9 million. The agreement gives Northside ISD licensing, service, maintenance, and ongoing support for Tyler's MUNIS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.

Te district will deploy several applications from the MUNIS suite, including Tyler Content Manager, MUNIS Business Objects, Tyler Forms Processing, Tyler GoDocs, GASB 34 Report Writer, and MUNIS Office. Both Tyler and the district sad they believe the combination of programs will help Northside streamline its processes, improve operating efficiencies, and provide scalability to accommodate future growth.

"There were numerous factors that led to our decision to invest in the Tyler system--among them Tyler Technologies' outstanding reputation for providing quality solutions and services to school systems across the United States, as well as its strong presence with school districts in Texas," said Rick Gardner, project manager for Northside ISD, in a prepared statement. "These districts reaffirmed Tyler's reputation through the positive customer satisfaction reports they offered during our selection process. Northside also appreciates Tyler's technical support, as well as the Tyler software applications offered and the effect their implementation will have on the District's overall operating efficiency."

The deployment is scheduled to begin this month.
