Opera Program Offers Free Site Licenses to Higher Ed

Opera Software is making its secure, fast and reliable Internet browsing alternative available to higher education institutions for free. Opera’s tightly coded, cross-platform browser provides additional value to students by offering tabbed browsing, integrated searches and pop-up blocking. The Opera browser is also fully customizable, which gives universities the ability to use their own colors and mascots in the design of their browsers’ buttons, backgrounds and borders. Opera offers a banner as well, where schools can insert news or other announcements to their students. For more information on the Opera Higher Education Program, visit www.opera.com/education.
