Itincorporates GUI menus, an e-mail system and control of the Windows desktop.Intuitive GUI buttons versus character-based utilities manage the network, so staff not trainedin Novell can do support. It supplies home directories automatically, login IDs for all users,network security and access control to applications. This enables one person to support manyLANs (10+) simultaneously.There are graphical menus for teachers and students; text menus automatically display on PCsthat cannot support a GUI interface. Students can be denied access to DOS and othercommands, and cannot change the desktop set-up.It allows access to printers from any workstation, even across multiple file servers.
