Free Software Pkgs. Enhance Monitors

Mitsubishi is including two monitor control software packages free with their Diamond Scan 20H, Diamond Pro 17TX and Diamond Pro 21TX monitors. Diamond Control enables users to perform all monitor adjustments on-screen through an icon-based interface. The program, available for Windows or Macintosh, also features power management and includes software, interface cable and instruction booklet. DiamondMatch Color Calibrator Kit matches screen colors with printer output on Macintosh or Windows-compatible computers. Focused at CAD/CAM, graphic design and desktop publishing applications, the program considers ambient lighting when calibrating screen color to printer output.
