Discs Contain Text & "Picture Shows"

The National Geographic Society's PictureShow CD–; ROMs combine filmstrip content with background information and classroom activities.

Titles include Native Americans (Parts 1 & 2), Earth's Endangered Environment, Geology; and the Ancient Civilization series, which covers China and India, Greece and Rome and Egypt and the Fertile Crescent.

Each disc contains two "shows," with over 100 ¼ctures to view as movies or stills, plus curriculum–;based science and geography content. Narration is provided in English or Spanish.
