Study Cats & Birds In Virtual Museum

The first two releases in the Eyewitness Virtual Reality series &emdash; Bird and Cat &emdash; blend DK Multimedia's technology with content from the landmark Eyewitness books, videos and television series.

Users visit a natural history museum in which each floor is devoted to a different animal or environment. In the cat exhibit they learn about 100 species of cat, from domestic types to their wild cousins, and their habits and habitats.

In the Aviary, one observes objects of cultural significance relating to birds such as totem poles and amulets. Players can also see the world as a vulture d'es, with the central portion of the field of view magnified 2.5 times.
