The second issue of Volume Five of this video-training series, "Instructional Strategies for Greater Student Achievement" presents research-based teaching models. Various classroom strategies are presented in the videos; four are demonstrated. The four are: COPE, where students collect, organize, process and explain; Mystery, an inquiry practice where students solve a progression of clues; Metaphorical Expression; Reciprocal Learning, where pairs of students solve problems together. This issue comprises three tapes that demonstrate practical applications from 36 K-12 classrooms in seven states.
