Bell Atlantic Funds Scholarships for Ed.

. The Bell Atlantic Foundation provided 140 scholarships to primary, secondary, vocational and higher-education teachers in Bell Atlantic's service area to attend a two-day distance learning seminar administered by the Teletraining Institute.

In addition, 28 teachers were selected to participate in an intensive one-week Summer Academy, where they will form a teacher-training instructor corps to share their knowledge with others.
