Language Course Has Online Links

Your Way 2.0, co-published by Random House's Living Language division and Syracuse Language Systems, is a complete multimedia language course that has an online component. The program, which comes in Spanish and French versions, teaches conversation, grammar and over 2,500 words. Rather than completing static lessons, students learn by participating in branching conversations that offer realistic interaction with native speakers. Speech-recognition technology is used throughout Your Way to evaluate the pronunciation of words, phrases and sentences. The CD-ROM includes links to language, travel and international resources on the Web. Plus, beginning this fall, users will be able to enroll in online language classes through Language Connect University. Your Way ships with a microphone and Internet access from EarthLink Network.
