New Titles Feature Netscape Interface

Addison Wesley Interactive (AWI) has signed a licensing agreement with Netscape Communications to offer Netscape Navigator client software on its CD-ROM products for the higher education market. ActivPhysics, for introductory physics instruction, is the first AWI product created using Netscape software. It includes over 100 learning tools built as plug-ins for Navigator. Other CD-ROMs in development will serve subjects such as calculus, astronomy and mechanical engineering. The new products will allow students to access content from Mac or Windows machines, local campus networks or the Internet. In addition, students who have Internet access will enjoy a seamless interface when navigating CD-ROM content or browsing the Web.
