Ten CD-ROMs Are Priced Under $10

Science for Kids, publisher of the Adventures with OSLO series, releases ten new CD-ROM titles targeted at kids ages 3-12 and priced under $10 each. Packaging options, including Build-Your-Own Multi-Paks, are available for custom quantity orders. Water!Colors (ages 3-7) is a coloring book and paint program for creating original artwork or blackline templates. Kids can print their art or export it to other programs for finishing touches. Hidden sea creatures surround the watery palette. The Learning Arcade: Maps & Globes (ages 8-15) offers information on globes, continents, oceans, hemispheres, equator, prime meridian, latitude and longitude, compass code and more. Four games test students' knowledge and skills. The Machines Expo (ages 7-11) is a playful and wacky presentation of modern and ancient use of simple machines. Basic physics is tested in the Rube Goldberg contraption, which advances when users provide correct responses. Other new titles are The Water Planet (ages 5-9), Jimmy Saves the Day!
