Free CD Lets One Build Custom Apps

National Instruments is making available a free LabVIEW Evaluation CD-ROM for Windows 3.1x/95/NT, Macintosh/Power Macintosh, Sun SPARCstations and Hewlett-Packard 9000 series 700 workstations. Also available, a new 16-page, full-color brochure with screen captures and virtual instrument descriptions gives a greater understanding of this product. The CD-ROM, based on the recently announced 4.0 version of the award-winning graphical instrumentation software, features tutorial-style online documents as well as a menu system to access a variety of information: details about LabVIEW add-on toolkits, technical support and the Alliance Program. Users can also try their hand at building custom applications with the evaluation copy included on the disc.
