Publish on Web & CD With Same Package

Searchí97 CD-Web Publisher is a publishing tool for Windows that integrates CD-ROM and Web publishing for cost-effective production and delivery. It lets one use Web tools and documents to publish on CD-ROM, combining speed and convenience with timely updates for Web-connected users.

The software uses standard Web browsers, production tools and processes, and maintains a consistent look and feel for both the CD and Web. Using the software, one can produce both a Web site and CD-ROM content, supporting more users with existing infrastructures. The CD acts as a local cache to the Web server, off-loading traffic and increasing performance.

CD-Web Publisher is built on standard document types ó such as text, HTML, PDF and more ó and standard Web clients, so there is no need to make costly changes, or to learn new interfaces. Verity, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, (408) 541-1500, www.verity.com
