Edutainment Carnival Tours the West Coast

Cosmic Carnival, a large-scale, high-tech "edutainment" exhibit kicked off its West Coast tour this summer at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, California. The hands-on exhibit will next appear at the Los Angeles County Fair (Sept. 14-28) and the Arizona State Fair (Oct. 16-Nov. 2).

Attendees will enjoy an interactive, audio-visual experience focused on the theme of space exploration. They can simulate a landing on Mars, take digital pictures and meet with scientists and science fiction celebrities.

Over 35 leading hardware, software and Internet companies are sponsoring the Cosmic Carnival, including Apple Computer, Autodesk, Disney, Fireflies, Headbone Interactive, Houghton Mifflin Interactive, Intel, Kodak, Roger Wagner Publishing, Time Warner and Yahooligans.
