Networking - Cirque Corporation's Cruise Cat touchpad

Cirque Corporation's Cruise Cat touchpad is an Internet-savvy input device that features "gesturing" and advanced Web capabilities. Featuring fast new commands, Cruise Cat eats the traditional mouse by providing instant access to browsers, e-mail, multimedia controls and more at the touch of a finger.

The Cruise Cat is ultra-thin, with four embossed virtual "hot buttons" on the pad's surface. These hot buttons automate different computing functions. The top hot button activates Cruise Cat's "touch gesturing" mode that enables the user to draw a symbol on the pad with a finger to launch a program, open a file, or activate a command. You can customize gestures by using Cirque's software. The second hot button enables the user to quickly launch the selected Web browser. The third button launches the selected e-mail application and the fourth button opens the Cruise Cat's sound mixer and multimedia control panel. Cirque's award-winning one-touch surfing, scrolling and zooming options are included. The Cruise Cat also performs basic mouse functions with simple taps on the touchpad surface.
