Training in the Virtual Classroom

For institutions using PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, DACG has introduced its live, online learning solution. Using Centra 99 by Centra Software along with PeopleSoft's end-user modules, DACG can now deliver comprehensive PeopleSoft employee education in a virtual classroom via intranets and the Internet. Centra 99 is a software-only system for the integrated delivery and management of live online learning.

The distance learning solution uses Centra's live collaboration capabilities so the trainees can interact with the instructor and each other through integrated, Web-based audio conferencing and live application sharing. It requires no additional infrastructure beyond that typically in place for ERP software, such as a Web browser and multimedia PC over a LAN, 28.8 modem or Internet connection.
