PRINTERS - FARGO Electronics, Inc.

FARGO Electronics, Inc. has introduced the HD720 Card Printer, delivering superior image quality, improved card durability, and expanded versatility. Unlike direct-to-card printing, the HD720 uses High Definition Printing technology to print images onto a special film that is then fused into the surface of the card through heat and pressure. This unique printing method improves image quality, and can improve card durability and security by sealing graphics and text within the surface of the card. The resulting cards are virtually tamper-proof and resistant to abrasion. The printer allows users to easily print different sized cards on different types of stock, including oversized and extra-thick cards. Printers can be networked for high-volume production. The printer offers a complete spectrum of encoding options, and can be equipped with built-in proximity card, smart card, and magnetic stripe encoders for access control, time and attendance tracking, and vending applications.
