IBM’s Insight at School is a new business intelligence solution for the K-12 market. It provides schools with technology, consulting and services to improve the learning process by helping students make more informed decisions. Through the use of integrated information and data analysis tools, Insight at School will help administrators spot trends and evaluate curricula at the building, district and classroom levels. The solution aims to help school districts access several years of integrated historical data, such as students’ tests, courses and grades. The program gives instant access via any personal computer to students’ academic histories, allowing administrators to analyze class performance, grade performance, district performance, curriculum calendars, geographic data and many other variables.
