Spectrum Industries, Inc. - Link Cart

Spectrum Industries, Inc. has announced a new line of communication furniture engineered expressly for video conferencing and distance education. Included in these new items is the Link Cart Distance Learning Cart, which is intended to serve the two-way video and audio needs of education classrooms. The Link Cart features large platforms for monitors in a variety of heights, such as 30", 35" and 42", and widths, as well as support surface grommets. A spacious interior was designed to hold the various accessories available, including front and rear rack rails for mounting equipment. The cart is well ventilated, and if positive internal air movement is desired, an optional fan kit is available. Other features include a full-length pull-out shelf, a rear rack rail and a locking rack rail drawer. For ease of mobility, steel handles are secured to both ends of the cart.

Spectrum Industries also offers Flip-Top desks that work in any room configuration. Features of the desk include a high-pressure, laminate covered work surface that resists scratches and marks, a smooth, rounded solid oak front edge, and a flip-top door that runs the entire width of the work surface. A solid oak chair rail protects hardware connections and the cable channel, and a flip-top door covers the cable channel when closed. Steel legs made of 1" x 2" 16-gauge welded tubular and a heavy gauge metal modesty panel/cable channel add strength and stability to the unit. Especially efficient for perimeter and back-to-back installations, the Flip-Top desk simply requires users to lock the desks together to form a continuous row. Place the hardware on the desktops, wire in the network or switch box, and place the cable and cords in the storage channel. Last, connect the electrical power, close the flip-tops, and installation is complete. Spectrum Industries, Inc., Chippewa Falls, WI, (800) 235-1262, www.spectrumfurniture.com.
