Teachers Can Access Lessons Aligned with State Standards Online

EdVISION Corp. and America Online have partnered to produce State- Standards on AOL@SCHOOL. The agreement enables teachers to access AOL@SCHOOL's lesson plans based on state curriculum standards. Using StateStandards, educators can search curriculum standards documents for more than 40 states. Teachers who want to find lesson plans that are correlated to state standards can simply log on, select the appropriate state document and specific objective, and immediately access relevant lesson plans that are aligned to that skill. The program also gives educators the opportunity to receive an e-mail when information for a specific state changes. Teachers will be able to access these lesson plans through AOL@SCHOOL's teacher portal at http://school.aol.com/teachers/lesson_plans.adp and through the site's administrator portal. America Online, Dulles, VA, (888) 339-0767, www.aol.com.
