Mobile Lectern Promotes Multimedia Integration

Spectrum Industries Inc. has released the Media Director, a mobile integrated technology lectern that promotes the use of available multimedia equipment in the classroom. The lectern is also designed to provide full access to both the front and rear of the lectern, making it easier to install and maintain equipment.

The Media Director's standard features include grommet holes for cable management and four 4" heavy-duty locking casters with a 1,200 lb. total capacity, which can be replaced with a 5" t'e kick for floor mounting or the use of adjustable gliders. It also features standard 19" front and rear rack rails, which have 13 1.75" rack spaces each. The Media Director offers clear acrylic locking doors on the instructor side and steel locking doors on the student side. Optional features for the Media Director include 16-guage steel rack-mount shelves and a flip-up, self-locking document camera shelf that can be mounted to either side of the lectern.
