Intech 2002 Conference Preview
The Intech Conference & Expo 2002 will be held at the Navy Pier in Chicago from Oct. 29-30. Presented by Eduventures and Reed Exhibitions, the conference is expected to feature more than 30 sessions that will address key technology issues, as well as several high-level speakers from leading solutions providers and institutions with some of the most advanced e-learning programs in the nation.
In the exhibit hall, attendees can expect to get up-to-date information from a wide range of exhibitors that offer instruction, infrastructure and integration solutions and services, including Pearson Broadband/Electronic Education, Thomson Enterprise Learning, The Princeton Review, WebCT and T.H.E. Journal.
The conference's sessions span three distinct, vertically focused tracks that are designed to assist schools, universities and corporations in the development of effective program strategies, partnership criteria and best practices. This year's topics include: "The Convergence of Academic and Administrative Computing," "Outsourcing E-Learning Solutions," "Managing Digital Content," "Online Teaching Methodologies" and "Blended Learning Solutions."
The speakers at Intech include CEOs and senior vice presidents from leading solutions providers, as well as directors and administrators from some of the nation's top e-learning-enabled institutions and organizations. This year's featured speakers are John Bailey, director of the U.S. Education Department's Office of Educational Technology; Gary S. Becker, the 1992 recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences and a professor at The University of Chicago; and Jenni Lehman of PeopleSoft.
